Property access for meter reading

Resolving issues for meter access due to locked gate, roaming dog or any other access concerns.

1. Water Meter Relocation (recommended)

Relocating your water meter ensures accurate readings and is a permanent solution. This is what we’ll do:

  • Move your meter to a new box outside your property.
  • Remove the old meter box and restore the original area.
  • Standard relocations apply if the meter is moving from one grassed area to another without traffic control or other complications. Check our current charges for pricing details.

2. Smart Meter

We can install a smart meter.

  • We will need access to your property to do this.
  • We will need periodic access for maintenance purposes.

3. Customer Provided Read

You will be sent a text link every 2nd month to provide your reading.

  • We will use your reading to bill you.
  • You need to supply your readings on a consistent basis.
  • We reserve the right to remove you from this service if readings are not supplied.
